Whoa Nellie!
Runic Wisdom from Thurisaz
I don’t mean to sound like an alarmist, but today’s rune says “Hard Stop.” The kind of stop that almost throws you over your horse’s head when it skids to a halt to keep you both from going over a cliff.
Let me explain.
I drew the rune Thurisaz. Thurisaz has as much depth as all the other runes, but one of its big meanings is danger. I’m honestly hearing that weird robot repeating “Danger Will Robinson, Danger” over and over again in my head.
So whoa. Hold back. Set your boundaries. Consider a HARD NO.
Here’s the good news. Thurisaz is a symbol that represents Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir. Mjolnir was magic, and it was Thor’s very own special magic weapon against the giants, against chaos. So, while Thurisaz is quite loudly saying that something’s not right, it is also saying, “you’ve got this.” Somewhere deep in your tool bag is THE TOOL, Your very own magic hammer. It might not be pretty - Mjolnir wasn’t, but if you’re willing to pick it up, it will help you do what needs doing.
